The IT City of Katrinebjerg

The IT City of Katrinebjerg is the dynamic and innovative IT environment in the Aarhus region. It is the place where small and large companies, researchers and students meet and inspire each other crosswisely in an interdisciplinary, creative and open network.




 

 

 

 

The University of Aarhus has decided to localize all its IT study programmes and all its IT research in Katrinebjerg, among others in a number of new buildings.

The Government, the County and the Municipality are heavily engaged in the IT City, among others by means of co-financing a IT Science Park of 10,000 square metres to be opened in 2006.

Several IT companies are already located in Katrinebjerg and more are to come.

The Alexandra Institute is located in the IT City and in this way it has direct access to spearhead knowledge and interdisciplinary, innovative networks.

The Institute is a central actor in the development of the IT City of Katrinebjerg and work closely together with:
